formal 140 lift is leaking oil

I have to keep adding oil to the lift but I don't see where its going to. My question is, can the oil from the lift leak into the motor?

Yes it can because the hydraulic pump is driven off the cam gears on the right side of the motor. If the seal on the pump drive is leaking you would get hydraulic oil into the engine. If that is happening you should be gaining engine oil.

Yes it will. Too much hydraulic fluid in your engine will cause it to loose power and put excessive wear on rings and crankshaft bearings. It is not a good engine lubricant.

(quoted from post at 19:37:31 02/24/18) What do I need to do to fix it.
Can a speedy sleeve be used

I guess replace the seal or pump, maybe some one can share their fixes.
Maybe you can find a new seal and replace, keep us posted if you find a fix.
