really nice..!!! My neighbor up the road in nJ..Just did his barn ,,and it looks just like yours!Im gonna get a picture of it for you ,maybe later today

Gonna be doing this myself down the road. Is it a big pain, financially as well, to have a white insert in the siding to replicate the old door (no actual door)?

Not a new picture, obviously, but not too old. When we changed over to the conveyor system we replaced the end door with the clear plastic as seen along the top of the photo. Our door did not hinge open like yours, rather it slid up and down in tracks like a double-hung house window. There were two six-foot lengths of railroad iron hung as counter weights. The original door was wood, replaced with a wood frame/semi-translucent fiberglass panels in the 1970's. The newer clear plastic has not held up well against the wind, I am getting some pressure to replace most of it with a barn quilt above the new opening, and I'm kinda warming up to the idea.

The whole track/trolley and rope system is still inside the barn, depreciating by the minute.

Were those two brace beams always in that position? They seem to be in the way of a load of baled hay on the trolley...
