This old Stromberg was in a box of stuff that was given to me. Do any of you guys have a clue as what it is off of? It looks like it was not designed for an air cleaner. Looking at the different adjustment areas it appears very primitive.

My guess would be a Model T. Glass bowl is probably
worth as much as the whole to the right person.

Model T carb is about 1/4 that size. It's probably from an early tractor with a big engine, maybe like Minneapolis or something. Advertise it and someone may tell you and want it.

Take a look at the link below. It appears it was used for several types of automobiles to include the Model T. Yours looks to have some parts missing.
B No. 4

Thanks Glen. It does look mine is a model T. The one in your picture is a B4 and so is mine. I will have a model T coupe in my shop in a day or two so I can do a comparison then.
Thanks.

I know that the Stromberg B No. 4, carburetor was used on 1912 Michigan automobiles. Our car has that carb. It was matched with a Buda Model "T" 4 cylinder, 312 cubic inch engine. I know that Buda made engines for a wide range of vehicles during that period. Hope that is helpful.

Thanks Mark. Judging by the size of the air intake this carb doesn't flow all that many CFM's. Those old engines didn't run fast and were low compression so I suppose the intake CFM requirements wasn't much for a fairly large cube engine.
