I have been attempting to sort out rear tractor tire
sizes. Presently I have one 9.5 24 YET have a small hope
of finding a match in make or tread. A thought has come
maybe find a pair of 11.5 24 instead of continuing to
locate a match for the present one.
Would the 11.5 24 fit and work on the present rim that
has a 9.5 24 on it? (I live on Ontario Canada)
I will be using the tractor on a reguar basis cutting
grass and haulling even on the highway.

A lot depends on the rim and how wide it is. 9.5 tire should be on an 8 inch or maybe a 9 inch rim and the 11.5 should be on a 10 inch rim to be correct. That all said ya you can put a wider tire on a narrower rim then should be but they can look funny in some cases and even make I so traction is not as good

That 9.5 is possibly on a 6" rim now. Bace in the 30's and early 40's they used a lot narrower rim. The 11.5 would just speed the tractor up a good bit but also give you more traction. Fender clearance might be the problem but you should be able to see if that would be a problem, rim width will not be a problem.
