Update Progress on new wood hauler

I went out in the back yard and grabbed the rear of the IH running gear with the Kubota and loader today. Put it in the shop and proceeded to cut it up. I took 14" of width out of the axle and cut off the angled struts accordingly. Clamped it up straight and welded it back together, and rolled it under the frame for the dump body. This gear sets really tall compared to others that I have used, but that extra height allows me some room to mount the cable dump system under the body and onto the tongue. I got that all figured out today, but need to tack it all together to make sure the geometry is correct.
It will be a while before next post. I have to order some steel tubing for the pole/tongue and 16G sheet stock from my steel supplier before I can proceed much further.

I see you reduced the gear from a McCormick to the narrower "ormick"

Your cutting lines are much too straight LOL

Great work Loren, keep us posted!
