...MotorKote Hyper Lubricant? A client of mine is a retired mechanic. Says he has been using this stuff for a while now and really likes it. I never heard of it until he mentioned it. Just wondering if others use it?

I have not used it. I have seen a similar product called "Slick 50" used. I can not really tell if these type of things really work or not. My thinking is that if they really worked then OEM manufactures would be using them.

Just because an additive makes oil more slick, doesn't mean it's the best thing to use. I'm not researching facts simply because I don't need to but I read that this stuff uses chlorinated paraffins. It's up to you to research about chlorinated paraffins, and whether this product has it or not, but I wouldn't want to put that in my oil.

I saw a slick 50 demonstration at a heavy equipment construction company 38+ years ago. They had an old Ford 360 on a trailer, that had been treated with slick 50, with no oil pan on it. They started it up and let it run during their presentation (about a half an hour). It sounded like a brand new engine when they shut it off. Don't know what is in that stuff, but it was impressive.
