Sealed Beam Headlights for Farmall/John Deere

Have a few teardrop headlight shells, and want to use them. Seems the cost of glass and reflectors will exceed the cost of sealed beam lamps. The diameter measures 4.75 inches.
This would be a PAR38 size lamp. Some sources say it is a PAR36 lamp. One site says a PAR38 is 4.625 One says a PAR36 is 4.75. I'm just trying to be sure before I order 4. 12 volt.
Specifications say lamps are measured in 1/8 inch increments. Obviously, that would make a PAR36 a four inch lamp. Does anyone have experience and know a reliable supplier. I'm seeing prices from $9.50 to $34.50. Confusing to me. Thanks for any info you can share.

These lights came from an A John Deere and an H Farmall.

If you search carefully on newagtalk.com, there are 2 vendors that are very popular and respected for Ag lights, leds especially.

A Larson and a Peterson. A search there for led light and either name should pop something up.

They can't advertise out inthe open, just like here, so you have to search a bit to find them, but both sound good.

The cheaper lights you mention may interfere with radios, gps, etc. the better lights probably last longer, don't interfere, cost more. There are trapezoid, spot, and even see a combo now from one of the fellas mentioned.

Take the 'buckets' in with you to a NAPA (or similar) store. Let the attendant help you find the correct 'bulb'.
