Hi thank you for asking! He's doing great. He's working 5 am to 6 pm now 12 days on and 2 off. They just started milking in a new Boumatic 50 stall rotary parlor and are up to 1100 cows milking now. 2 guys can milk 250/hr now and they are milking 350 more cows than a month ago in 2 hours less time. I hope I get to go see the farm some day,sounds like a huge place. How's the weather in your neck of the woods? Are you having a good winter?

He's here in Alberta somewhere right? Hope he's enjoying the weather and the job. Man, never heard of 12 on and two off ..... that's a tough grind. Hopefully they're paying him overtime, supposedly time and half I think after 40 hours every seven days (or how that works). Nothing better than meeting up with a nice Western Canadian gal, that'll make things even more fun !!!

Glad he is well. It is winter here... getting old, but I'm not ready for spring yet either.

Well in Ponoka he has got a good taste of winter. Seems to be endless this year.

My son is in Airdrie Alb.He has been there for eleven years, loves it.He goes snowmobiling in the mountains, dirt biking and four wheeling.Loves the lifestyle. He works as a heavy equipment mechanic. He finds that the employer have more respect for employees out there.Mis him but very little opportunities here.
