202H John Deere plow

just bought a John Deere 202H plow today how rare are they I've never seen one before today it's missing a plow shear on the right side moldboard would a shear off like a JD 44 plow work? any good plow salvage yards out there? Thanks Howard

Like any plow, it is the model of the bottom not the plow that matters, you will need to determine what bottom you have and proceed from there. Each of the many bottom assemblies has a designation, often on the back of the moldboard or stamped into the share.

if you dont mind i have one was thinking about sale it was wondering what sorta price you gave for it if you dont want to say i good with that it in good working shape

thanks for the info everyone I probably paid to much ($275) It's missing a spring a shear and the bottom hitch needs welded, and needs 2 tires but I've never seen one and I think it will get a lot of looks at the show's this summer and can't wait to take to the plow day this fall Thanks Howard

For share check here. Steve Rea, 13909 Duck Creek Rd., Salem, Oh 44460, 330-332-9386 [email protected] or www.ploworx.com Hebought out a lot of the old Cresent Forge plow share companys and makes the shares that I would guess thet Tylor would be selling unless he has new old stock. I think Steve is the only one making the old style shares now. Finding shares comes up on here about every other week. So a popular topic. This contact information was posted on here on January 29,2018, I have his bussiness cards but not handy.
