Sorry, not about guns.....ordered a new pickup today, 2018 Silverado LT 4x4 ext. Cab with a few extras. 36kCAN and change .....that would be about 32kUS. How does that price compare to those in the US?

Jayne opted for a deep red metallic.....it was extra, but she said she would pay for it. Can't go wrong with that!

I bought a new Z71 with extras 1 year ago, cost a little more, but I am more then happy with it, I put 18,000 miles on it, plus 10,000 on my car, plus 6,000 on a Dodge truck on vacation

Centash ......... sounds like you made a decent deal I think. At today's $0.81 exchange rate, I would say the USD calculation is closer to $29,250 or thereabouts. And that's the market exchange, not sure if a guy like me or you would ever gets something that good from your own bank (not that it matters to your post). Not sure what the other fellow down below was referring to with his $44,000 calculation.

I just bought a 2 WD Chevy 1500 LT Texas Edition extended cab quad doors and the 5.3 engine for $26,300. But that was a demonstrator with 1900 miles.

I was offered 10k for the trade......on line a similar truck is going for 13k and up,
so asking 12 seemed fair....

GM did not pay the whole amount back to the government. GM ended up making a deal for partial payment.
