Been retired 8 years spend most ever day working in my 40 acre wood lot. This time of year burning brush piles if above 10 degrees outside. This is my winter time woods tractor, gas engine starts good in cold weather. ( in western new york )

now thats a nice set up for working in the woods 714, but keep a carefull eye on it, if that Adirondack case guys spots that rig he'll be all over it

Someone else posted some pics of their Ford with a similar MFWD- IIRC it was an early aftermarket kit using a Dodge truck front axle and a transfer case. This one sure looks nice as well, and is well equipped for working the woods. Much like those of ACG Loren.

He has done a nice job with it, even if it is a Ford, HeHe. He has brackets and boxes for his necessities, But geese; I bet he sure wished that he had a PTO driven skidding arch on the back rather than that box blade.
I do all my skidding with a much smaller tractor. Kubota B2150 MFD, with loader and 3pt skidding arch with winch. It is only 54" wide and I can skid logs with minimal collateral damage.
That sure is a unique Ford with the Ellwood??? MFD, and I'm sure it works very well in the woods.
All us New Yorkers are not Citiots.

You have a nice setup there. The Ford 4000 4 cylinder is a fine gas powered tractor. They run pretty good with little maintenance.
