Did some repairs on the power steering on my 620 John Deere, now putting it back together.
I went to John Deere to get the shims that go between the steering column and the spline
gear from the steering shaft. There are various thickness sizes, real thin, and are used to not only
be a gasket, but also shims to adjust the tolerances between the spline and the steering
column. My problem, when I went to John Deere they cannot find those parts. They gave me
some, but they are not the right ones. Any suggestions where I could find either the correct
part number or else purchase those shims from another manufacturer?
Thanks.
