Good for You and Her! Too many children are not allowed to get out and about, They might get dirty and germs!

your right about that, so sad to see parents not teaching there children.

Thanks Down Under for the picture and reminder that there are still good people out there doing the right thing.

Still got a couple months to go befor then.
Spoust to be 40 degrees over the weekend
that about 100 for you. Rains stoped nothing
in sight. Lots of crops out starting to look
sad. Our silage corn hanging on ok so far
bout think we will have to cut early to save
it probably be a month of chop now but dout
it will make itright through eith out rain

(quoted from post at 08:07:13 01/19/18) I thought you were gonna say you sold the cows.

Same here. That was Dad's "best afternoon in dairy."

Careful where you post these pictures. In the USA that would be considered "child endangerment" and if the right social justice warrior caught wind of it, you'd all end up in jail and the would end up as a ward of the state.

They want to help when too young to help, and do not want to when old enough to help.

What a darling, thanks for posting.

What a cute little one!

I wasn't born in a barn... but I grew up in one. LOL

I was dad's righthand "man". Avoided girl-work in the house like the plague... I preferred doing chores and cleaning the hog barn with Dad. He either called me George (rather than Gina)... but most often called me Mighty Mouse.
Thanks for the trip down memory land.

Looks Great DUF.
Both my kids loved riding in the cab when mowing or disking fields. My daughter would almost always fall asleep within 20 minutes... even when she was 6. She's 13 now and actually likes mowing the lawn ... going to put her into the tree field this year.
My son always wanted his hand on the wheel. He's 7 and still likes riding with me. I got an old craftsman riding mower with no deck and that I slowed down for him to drive when his sister mows the lawns.

They grow up so fast. It's fun taking them out. Enjoy the time. Be Safe. Grant

Hey what area are you in Australia? I've travelled a large area of your country 20 years ago.... not so much of Canada though.

Down under farmer, Good for you teach them while they are young. I help out on a small dairy and they bring the kids in the daughter is four and the twin boys are only a few months old. Could you post a pick of your parlor as their cows have to do a couple steps to milk them instead of a ramp. We can only milk 6 at a time. In 2015 we did concrete work for a small parlor in an old dairy barn. Last pic is a group of Aussie tractor collectors I met in September at my local tractor show in Roseboom New York. A great bunch of guy's!

He's getting along great and loves it so far. They made it there in 2 1/2 days. They took turns driving and driove straight through. His grandfather flew home the next day. They're milking 840 3x right now and soon moving into the 50 stall rotary parlor than moving up to 1000 cows. Another friend of his from here's on his way there to work now too so he'll have lots of buddies close by.
