new holland L455 skid loader

friend of mine has an L455 skid steer that the loader wont go up. if you push the pedal to go down as far as it will go it will raise very slow. step back to raise wants to go down. no power behind it though. tilt works fine. read someplace about a brake and did see two small electric somethings right above foot brake and one just off to the right side of that. can't find much info on this thing.

Check to see if there is a safety switch under the seat and that it is plugged in or is working. If the wire on my L 553 comes unplugged it will do something similar

I have a L455 and vote for the seat switch. Check to make sure the seat is plugged in at the connector just under your right leg. If connected check it for power. Can also make up a jump wire. Get a connector that plugs in and twist the wires together. This bypasses the seat switch so be careful not to drop the boom on yourself. If still not working maybe the solenoid is bad, check it for continuity.
