Hey everyone, is there anyone that has information on a free service manual for a Case 1835c skid steer? I don't really want to pay 100+dollars for one that i don't think will use much after i get done rebuilding the motor. Any help is greatly appriciated.

I have the same skid loader with the diesel, some had gas engines too. Might find the info you need in a small diesel engine manual. Mine has Kubota, Isuzu, Yanmar, etc.

You think I will need the manual to hook all the junk up?
Ill give you some background information,
Just bought it yesterday for 1700 bucks.
The motor was disassembled.
The reason for disassembly was because of cracked head.
He bought new head and had it put together with all new parts.
Previous owner said he might as well rebuild it while it was apart.
Owner got tired of it, sold it to the guy I bought it from.
This guy sent the block, head, cam, crank to a local machinest (pretty good one to).
Motor has been out of skid steer for 6 years.
Engine was hot tanked and cleaned up spotless and honed.
I can rebuild the motor, no problem, but hooking up all the "stuff" will be a pain, I feel. Also, ive heard the timing on the motor is tricky.

my 2 cents, If your going to own a piece of equipment, own the service manual.

I have purchased a manual in the past from jean claude marleau, his manuals are Case issued
manuals, they are complete.
