follow up oil pump 5000 ford

Son and friend pulled oil pan , think we got luckey oil pump is worn / rear bearing was going bad ,crank shaft is going to be ok and the parts are ordered. Next one taken apart was
the 6700 clutch was out the spline that ribbeted to clutch sheared off got those parts ordered also , i'll be glad to get my loader tractor back missing the cab. Next thing on the
5000 is the pto clutches ,how big of a job is that going to be

Hey Ron

Had a mechanic do our non SOS 5000 about twenty something years ago lift cover had to come off he had a piece of angle iron or RHS with holes drilled to lift it from behind the tractor that is about all I remember. Just a suggestion post over on the Ford board lots of clever mechanical types over there who could do this before lunch.

Ok friend use to work for odot here said he has done a few back when he worked for them thinking of takeing top of with the motor hoist. Thanks i am glad it can be fixed mower tractor and hay unit
