tractor has already been bored 40 over cant find 60 over can it be bored and put dry sleeves like some came from factory

Yes, it can be bored, sleeved, bored back
to whatever you want it to fit, your
current used pistons, or standard size new
pistons. They won't be sleeves that can
just be removed and replaced if it is
rebuilt in the future though, they'll have
to be machined out again. But, for the use
that tractor will get from here on out,
I'll bet you'll never have to worry about
it again. Seems like the last time I quoted
a bore/sleeve/bore job it was $150/hole for
labor. The last one I had done was a Ford
201 Diesel in a backhoe. To have it
bored/sleeved, and bored to the new
pistons, have the crank checked and
polished, the top of the block surfaced,
new wrist pin bushings installed and honed
to fit, and to have the head checked and
rebuilt, it was $1100. Keep in mind this
was for a diesel 201, but it'll probably be
fairly close to that for a gasser.

First of all Always mention whether you have
a 62-64 4 cylinder 4000 or a 65-75 3
cylinder 4000.
They are completely different tractors and
prices for an overhaul will vary
accordingly.
That said, yes you can bore and sleeve them.
That is standard practice.
