I posted some time ago about me selling out and moving. I had a lot of books that no-one wanted and I was fixin' to burn them in the stove.

Y'all said to donate them to old-folks homes. I know some CNA's that work in some of those places and they were very excited to get those books.

Thanks for the advice and I still have another room full of books to disperse!

Good advice. I've been following this post pretty close because we have a bunch of books from my step mom who passed away last summer.

Greg1959,

I don't remember everything from your first post... but we donate books to Good Will and another store that sells used items. They always take them with no problem.

They went to a good place,,that is great news,Years ago here on this site old red power magazines were sent to me to take to an old dairy farmer who was in a nursing home.It worked out well and made many people happy.
