Saves a tremendous amount of time but that little dude was expensive! The front tool however was from the local university salvage store for $125. Another one came up and I bought that one too. I'm sure you know what it is

Looks like you tip it down and push it into a salt pile than tip it back up and hit the front live hydraulic remote button to salt the sidewalk? That's an incredible find for $125.

that's what it is. We actually put a more friendly ice melt (if there is such a thing) in 50# bags. Bulk salt is spread on the lots and drives. We do over 2 miles of walks with this, used to do it by hand with a push spreader! Takes about 1200-1500 pounds.

Oh we've been applying here for a long time. Slips and falls cannot occur. We coat the walks and lots here with 15-20 tons every snow. Treated rock salt in the lots, smaller grained 4 way blend on the walks. I keep a whole group of equipment here, tough to keep them running and clean.

Hey Oliver--Can I have your address so I can send the bills from the body shop to you for fixing my rusted out vehicles???---Tee

Just read an article today about chloride intrusion making some of Minnesota lakes land on the in peril list. Of course it doesn't tell the level of peril, or if it is actually having any negative effects. I'd sure hate to go thru a Midwest winter without salt on the roadways. gobble

Our county used to sand the roads with no salt, then some speeding teenager drove into our county from a neighboring county that did salt and hit the unsalted road in our county. He went in the ditch, wrecked the car and sued the county. Now our county salts too. A few years ago I painted our garage floor with an epoxy paint to protect it because the brine drippings off the cars was eating up the cement.

I?ll stack them with all mine! You should see my trucks with mounted spreaders. Yikes. Lots of washing.

We had a Bobcat S70 and a 453 at work. Those are without a doubt the most surprising little skidloaders I've ever used. They don't look like much and don't have much power but man will they work! You can't kill them and I have seen them take some hateful abuse. Plus they fit through a lot of doors. The 453 was submerged under 8 feet of water more times than anyone will admit to and once fluids are drained and replaced it just keeps on going.

I like it, but that little cab and those close two sticks means for a big guy your legs jam your marbles together. Doesn't feel good. Luckily I have a couple little guys!
