4dlt should sling it , and yes I can see it would be a problem getting to the battery in the cold. I know a couple of our customers HAVE ran remote jumper lugs down to an open area for just the reasons you listed. We are seeing a lot of the M 120 we sold roll over 4,000 hours now and still original engine with no problems.

Mine's about to tick over 5000 hours. Engine going strong. Powershift had a rebuild and the updated shafts of the later models installed at 4500 hours under a previous owner.
