That has to get cold watering your cattle in this stuff. I have an energy free one that I might have to bust a little ice off the top once a day, but I
don't need to stand there watering them. My cats wait until the cattle get done and use the same waterer, they like the energy free too....

I remember doing that back in dad's day, waiting for them to drink from the running faucet and shivering, hurry up and drink fellas!

Like I commented to somebody, it still beats walking a quarter mile to the dugout with an axe to chop a hole in the ice for the cattle like I used to do many years ago. I water them twice a day most days, keeps down the "feeding frenzy" that you get with extra thirsty animals.
