Sundogs And Ice Fog

We had a little freezing rain yesterday evening that left a layer of ice on everything. Including this old McCormick Deering tractor. It made a good subject while I was getting a picture or two of the sundogs and ice fog. Miserable cold and windy morning here at around 0 degrees.

Thanks, I was just lucky. Happened to be out in the yard at the right time. The view didn't last long. The wind blew the fog away and clouds obscured the sun (and dogs).

Beautiful pictures.

I got behind a semi last week in the in the Eastern part of the state, where they had had quite a bit of snow. The water coming off his rear tires was creating a spray with the most brilliant rainbow colors in it I think I've ever seen. I wish I would have had a way to get pictures of it.
