Our snowpocalypse forecast dropped from 13? on Monday to 2? as of this morning. Guess we?ll see what we get.

Don't wish for that dang stuff. We don't want or need it. Yesterday morning not much prediocted, yesterday evening 4-8", now this morning back to yesterday morning forcast. Have plans for sat that require driving 160+ mile and sure don't want that dang stuff.

Does anyone know what happened to actual "Forecasts"..??

Looks and seems as they are taking relative Humidity, Temps and what-ever and reporting the "Real-Time" weather Conditions, rather than giving anything close to a forecast..

Watch the weather reports and the report will change with the change in TEMP, all day long..generally the % chance of Rain Falls as the temps rise during the day...

If this is how Urban "weather Forecasts" are done, we had better watch RFD and hope for an "Old-Time Forecast"..IF there are any, now.

I know, it was not always a "Perfect" forecast (years ago) and sometimes we could usually tell is a rain or storm was coming if we saw the signs to the SW, over Pete Cases Woods..BUT..they at least attempted and did their best..

Guys at work last night were talking anywhere from 3 to 24" here in our corner of the state. Should be interesting.

Was watching one of the Cincinnati weather guys last night. (tuesday)

He was making the point that the storm was simply too far away yet to make an accurate prediction...yes, there was gonna be a storm, but how bad and where it tracks were just guesses at this point. He showed 4 different computer models, all showing the storm going different directions.

I found it refreshing, but I doubt he'll last long at the station. He wasn't screaming about a possible weather disaster, no hype. At least not yet.

Weatherman is the only job I know of where you can be wrong 100% of the time and still be considered an expert. Kinda like being a politician.

For an actual forecast try the "Old Farmers Almanac"

It went through here about 7pm. Much to do about nothing 3 inches of powder that is now being blown down to NE.
