cant figure out my 2000 chevy dump has electric over hydraulic dump bed just started doing this when I dump the body it will drain the battery and stall the truck so I just put a new 12v electric motor and solenoid and dose the same thing ,,alternator charges the truck ok when running but dump the body it dies thanks cdv

Have the battery load tested.

The dump hydraulic probably draws more than the starter, so it is the biggest load on the battery.

Also check the cables and ground connection, including the chassis ground.

Put new battery cables from the battery to the 12 V motor
new ground wires also circuit breaker fuse I?ll double check
the hinges thanks Cp

Two 29H-VHD battery's will help, every now and again I can stall the engine on my electric over hydraulic set up the bats are 5 years old and need replacing BAD its going to get a new set in the next week are so...

You are sucking all the volts out of your bats are battery's... You need two bats suck it up and add another that's just the way it is. My set up is 36 years old I have never had a problem with it other than a few switches and rebuilt the cylinders once. I would wager its cycled 15K times are more... Cold weather works it HARD...
