Three years ago my wife of almost 44 years passed after a long and difficult illness. Seems like ages ago and yesterday. I am moving along but never forget and miss her daily.

I can't imagine what it's like as my wife and I've been together 37 plus years, 35 married. I miss my parents, brother and FIL among others. Keep the faith and remember the good times.
 
All of us miss the ones we loved.

They will always be part of our lives.

We can always keep them in our hearts and minds.

Hang in there.
 
My wife of 32 years passed away in 2004. I miss her every day. I have found you adjust to it. But you never get used to it.
 
It sounds like your trying to make the best of a bad situation by moving forward. Its all you can do. My wife and I will be married 40 years tomorrow. I often wonder what I would do in your situation. I would like to think I will do what you are doing. You don't know for sure until you experience it.

tall kids mom passed away 21 years ago i still think of her a few times a week something will happen that makes me think about her.
it will get easier as time goes on
 
My wife passed on August 31, 2013. She battled cancer for 8 years. She was 38 and my boys were 12,10, and 8. We know that she is with the Lord and no more pain, surgeries, or chemo but we sure do miss her.
 
John, I'm sure she would be proud of the strength and determination that you have shown dealing with her passing, and your devotion in keeping her legacy alive.
 
Mine, Aug 17, 2010, 49 ? years......50th anniversary would have been that Dec 8. I am not a loner and it didn't take me long to realize that life goes on, the memories remain. I did, found a gem for a gal, and together we are making a life after our loved ones.....just up and died on us.
