Doubtful any green on it. Final drives were made at Farmall, engines made at Melrose Park, castings for all that all made at IH foundries. Stieger made frame, cab, and wheels. Stieger had their own rim rolling line.

I'm on a IH page on Facebook. That one was coming up often the last few weeks. Word I heard on there is it sold to someone from Canada who also bought the rare 7388 and 7788(I think those were it) from Iowa(?) earlier.

No, I believe the auction was a retirement auction. It's just a coincidence that all three came up for sale this close together.
