Have had this truck sitting in a corner of the shop about 30 years. About to decide to test the waters and see if I want to sell it. Unrestored, drove it in where it is parked. Any one have suggestions where to advertise? Tried the section below and the site would not let me posted. Tried to open email to contact me direct.

Craig's List is a might good place, people searching for a lot of things. I was looking for a clean 1997 Ford F250 4wd 5spd and my son (the car nut in Denver) searched the Craig's List through out the country and I found several, from collector quality to solid work trucks. I bought one listed in Pueblo Colorado he had found, and I'm in west central MN. Give it a try. Otherwise Hemmings Motor News is still an awesome outfit, with online connections. I'm sure there is an Diamond T collector group that would welcome an ad, just search or get a kid or grandkid (my option) to do the searching........

Please contact me direct. Dream come true. Where is it? Fueling up The Ford 250 diesel and hooking up the tilt bed trsiler. Email open

Yeah, that makes two of us who would like to know what area it's in! ...Only thing is, I don't have a truck OR trailer to haul it with. Darnit Gordy, guess you'll just have to haul it [i:1de0594f5a]for [/i:1de0594f5a]me! My email is open so's I can give ya' directions. *lol*

Check it out good before you let someone steal it.Any Diamond T that vintage are worth a lot.Check with The Antique Truck Society for some pricing, just my 2 bits.

Take a look on evil bay and evil bay motors. Might get you some ideas what they sell for. Many autos don't sell on there but connect buyer seller for a deal afterwards. The rarity of that will command the value.

the 201 is probably one of the most sought after trucks ever, ive wanted one myself for 40 years, and im not sure now that id fit in the cab lol. the 48 was one of the best looking too, depending on its condition, ive seen "rusty, but mostly there" sell for 5000, and one that will start and move under its own power go for 25,000, fully restored, they are very expensive if they have the original Hercules engine and running gear,

Yep- Back in the '70s I had a '49 1 ton with Bud wheels (dual rear) and a flatbed; used it to haul material for a shop that I was building. I paid $300 for it and sold it for $325 about a year later AND I felt like a shyster! At that time you could still buy parts for the engine at NAPA (I replaced one burnt valve in the 6 cyl. Hercules and it would pull old Hiway 24 up Ute Pass in high gear; geared low and lotsa torque! The guy that I bought it from said that he drove it from Michigan to C. Spgs. after he inherited it, wish I still had it! :(

I have a restored 201. Notice dash photo in Hemmings article is the wrong image. I would advertise in Hemmings Motor News because you target the antique truck and car people and avoid the ying-yangs on craig's list and ebay.
