JD Seller -- Thanks for the good advice from 6 years ago. I'm trying to put some cushioning on the seat to a JD 300 loader, which has the original metal seat. Just like you said, the dealer wanted to sell me parts AT25964 and AT20490 for about $600, but it seem like the kit (TY26551) should work for around $150. Do you know if it works? The seat has a large suspension spring running up the back and I wasn't sure if it would connect to this seat in the kit. I'm attaching some pictures. Just curious if you think it's worth a try. I haven't found many sellers, so I'll be out shipping to return it if it's wrong.
Thanks!

The suspension was made by Knoedler. They sold in the aftermarket and made a factory one that was a upgrade for Cockshutt. Bearings are available from Agco and there is a shock available from NAPA that works. Sorry I don't know the numbers, might try down in the Oliver page if you are looking for those parts also.

As near as I can tell the Kit TY26551 will fit your tractor since you have the deluxe seat. The parts manual calls for the individual cushions, AT25964 and AT20490. These are the two cushions in the TY26551 kit.
