In the early 60's Dad was still doing disking for others, in between farming. On the way to a job, he was turning left, someone in a hurry hit he planks and spun the tractor off the truck. The tractor kept running, because it was on propane, He got it home put on a different radiator. The tractor was ready next day. Eventually the engine started to knock because of lack of oil to the bearings when the tractor was on the ground. The tractor is still around, but not used because of it being operated on propane. The M I use is gasoline. Stan

Great pictures, glad your Dad didn't get hurt, and he had the old work ethic, fix it and get back to work!

That picture reminds me of 5hat very funny movie. Watch Joe E Brown in the movie Earthworm Tractors. You know,,,when he is running through the swamp. If 6ou love old cars, trucks, and machinery you need to watch that movie. Alexander Botts the worlds best salesman.

Same truck, and may be the same disk, as I have two. There is another picture of his tractor and truck where he backed over a bank. Dad had to have a crane lift it out. I can't seem to locate those pictures. Stan
