Having problems with the lift, with my Deutz 06...have changed o-ring's, new filters, oil, cleaned the "brain" got this from another reply!..Called the "brain" it controls the metering of the hydraulics, from the three-point to the remotes.
Cleaned out the hydraulic tank with engine cleaner, rinsed it, now the H-oil has bubbles in it, it was lifting but would not go down unless I released the pressure, now will go up but not down...have had the H-tanks cover off...but am stuck can anyone assist please?
thankyou

when you put the brain back in did you have the o rig at 12 oclock push it in then turn back to 9 oclock, if you pushed it straight in it will cut the oring.gerald

I do think so? without being aware of that...as I don't think the bolt line up, to fasten it, would work otherwise?...I will remove it again and see if it is damaged.
After changing the o-ring the lifts come up but would not return/go down, even left over night.
What I did find is the H/Oil became milky/aerated, I then was told to put engine cleaner into the oil, to perhaps unblock any stuck passage/valve, I drained it and replaced the oil.
now I have neither lift or movement and still milky H-Oil?.
I seem to think it has something to do with/in the lift lever area?

air...but if we had a leak somewhere, I'm sure it would have gone down during the night,if it was sucking air, to the lowest position, but it seems to be highly agitated, creating the bubbles?

Could anyone perhaps tell me what would go wrong if the lift arms were overloaded, would the brain suffer, I have loaded a dam scoop and done many trips with rocks, up steep hills, the front wheels did stay down, so never though overloading would be an issue, the dam scoop is about a cube sq?
