Found a running Farmall 400 Diesel without a cracked head. Tin looks great along with the rest of the tractor. Noticing when I switch it to diesel after a 5 minute warm up on gas the number 4 cylinder isn't firing. Discovered that there isn't a thermostat. So I covered the radiator with a blanket and then after running it on gas it started firing on diesel. Should there be a thermostat in there and what temp. Also one of the sets of quick couplers, pioneer doesn't let oil into a tip. The system pulls the tractor down but not enough flow to lift a grain auger. Has a one way check valve on it but even the side that doesn't go through the check valve doesn't work. Sweet sounding old tractor tho.
