A man has a 630 gas, ran it low of oil now its locked up, wide front 3 point what would be a fare price to offer him. Tractor has several oil leaks tires far. thank you

The wide front and the three point are worth $1000 each if good. That is about what I would offer as I have bought running 630 narrow fronts with three point for under $3000. I recently bought a not running 620 with dual hyd's and very nice sheet metal for $1500. Was thinking of parting it but with some good gas and cleaning the carb got it running. Tom

I have 3 wide front ends and have never sold a one, so I guess I will put them on a tractor and I have never sold a 3 point and have several. But you and I are in the same ball park I will start at 1800 . I know the end could be very expensive. thank you I wont part it out

I've never seen a non-running 630 sell for under 2,000 dollars. Then again I have never seen a 630 so bad where the best thing to do would be to sell it for scrap versus a parts tractor. I've seen lots of very poor 630's that ran or non-running but decent looking at around the 3,000 dollar mark. Unless this guy does not plan to see what the best price he can get is I don't think 2,000 dollars will get it done. Just my opinion.

well tractor prices are down right now no matter were you live, I just bought a restore 620 single front dual hydraulics, electronic ignition full 3 point new 15-5-38 tires for 1600. He wanted it to stay around and not shipped off to another state. all tractors prices are way down I think the people who liked tractors are dying off mostly and the younger group only want cell phones.

theres a 1967 john deere 4020 for sale on Dallas Texas craigslist for sale 5000 has front and rear weights ck it out farm and garden, dallas texas , very nice looking tractor

If it is like around my area most of the well paying jobs left years ago so there is little money beyond covering the basics of life for young people. As has been stated here as of late prices will decline to meet the market and unfortunately demand will not be there unlike years ago as fewer people have a direct connection to agriculture.
