After you move the coupling levers to the unlock postition you have to push the female coupling to disconnect/connect. I?m assuming that Tool is to aid in pushing the female part of the coupler toward the male coupler for easier connection.

John Deere old style couplers would often stick in the housing. This lever mounts on the back side of the SVC valve to push the coupler spools out of the housing. That way you do not have to tug on the hose to get it unhooked or to "OPEN" them to hook up. Before I switched the majority of my older JD tractors over to the ISO coupler I had several of these kits/levers on different tractors.

I just looked on line and K&M used to sell the kits but I could not find them in their current catalogue. So they must have dropped them. I think I have a "new" kit in the shop.

Would you like to sell that kit and will it work on my 30 or 4020 I had them stick before to and usually just stick the hammer head behind the barrel and push down

Flip the two levers on the couplers to the "closed" position, and then put the hydraulic lever in "float" and the male tips should all but fall out.

If they don't, lube up the front protracting ends of the coupler barrels with your favorite rust busting "loosen juice" to free them up.

Then you won't "need" the accessory lever to beat on the front of the coupler barrels.

I would more than likely sell it. Shot me an email. I will also look in my K&M book. I remember buying them just a year ago or so.

PS: I just found my old order. It was for the Outside lever for the Sound guard cabs. I will have to dig and see where I got the rear lever kits from.

I've never heard of an outside lever for the Sound Guard cabs. That would be interesting to see. I did a quick look online and didn't find anything. Could you post a picture if you get a chance sometime.

They clamp onto the control lever right at the SCV valve. They will work on any 1970-1992 waterloo valve. I just found a picture of the lever. I will try and take one when they are installed. They save a lot of back and forth hooking up. IRC they are like $23.

I see how that might work now. I've never
seen or heard of them before. They look
handy enough I might have to pick some up
for myself. Thank you for taking the time
to post pictures of it.
