Slow fuel delivery to my 8N

Tractor starts and runs well, but stalls out. Checked the fuel line as it stalled and found minimal fuel coming out . Is it time for a new fuel tank? The screen filter above the glass bowl was ok, as was the fuel line to the carb. There is a little rust in the glass bowl. Are there other things I should check?

Radiator shops can boil them out and you can line the tank with a sealant that will make it good again. Jim

don't know hat "minimal" means to you, but they will run fine if flow out the carb bowl drain plug will fill a pint jar in 2 minutes. That isn't a gusher. I have found seeds & insect parts inside the tiny passages of the sediment bulb/valve housing (remove from tank).

I will quantify the flow. If it needs to be flushed, does it need to come off the tractor?
Thanks to you all for the wisdom!! Much obliged.
Spencer.

Not easy to find a radiator shop around here any more. Most of the "old timers" that did that kind of work are retired, passed away, or sold out. The last one that I knew of sold out about a year ago. These days, there just isn't enough work for them to stay open.

I had a combine that gave me fits. I finally unscrewed the sediment bowl assembly out of the tank and looked down inside of it. There was a kernel of corn down deep inside of it. I popped it out of there with a piece of wire and haven't had a minutes trouble with it since.
