Note about CNH parts

Just a heads up to anyone who is wanting CNH (Case IH and New Holland) parts in the near future. From Dec 23 to Jan 3, you will not be able to order any parts. (other than manually inputed Break-Down-Assistance). This is due to implementing a new parts system. If they have to be down for a week+, it's a good week to pick, but it's still going to have some negative effects.

It' not unusual for them to be down that time of year.

21 years ago, I had a fixer/upper Steiger in the shop I had just bought. I was working on the center pivot. There were some updates this tractor never got. I wouldn't have got it right but for a long time, knowledgeable CaseIH parts guy. He had pieces coming from all over the country. Between an order screw up the other end, and TWO weeks of down time, I waited about a month for some parts.

They close every year between Christmas and New Years. This is nothing new.

My neighbors combine been down almost 2 weeks for a hydraulic valve they can't find in parts.Had to rent a used machine to keep going.
