Just wondering if you have you blower on the Oliver yet ? I ran my 7'er on my 300 last year and this year I'm putting it on the 1650 gas. 300 did ok but at times it was a little much for it ! Just wondering !

Don't have it on yet. We had a mild winter last year. I only used it twice and both times it was wet, heavy snow. Didn't work to well, more pushing than blowing so I ended up plowing with the Ford mostly. One thing I did find out is that I can't reach the chute crank from the seat of the 1550. When I used it on the Ford I could reach back and turn it on the go. With the Oliver I have to stop and raise it to reach. Not likely I'll find the hydraulic kit. Still may need chains, too. I'm hoping for a mild winter, I'm going for a shoulder replacement in Jan.

I hope we don't get it bad either. Our first real snow supposed to come tonight and tomorrow into Monday. Not much though. 3-6. My chute is hydraulic so I guess I am lucky ! Putting the blade on my 300 Farmall now just to be safe !

Yeah in wny. Been ouside and just came in. Raining hard and the temps are dropping. Have already seen a little wet mix coming down. We are according to the weather supposed to have lake effect tonight, tomorrow and possible tomorrow night with 45 mph wind. Don't know how true that is, all I know is I am ready !
