Having trouble with my skid steer. The module behind the seat that shows the status of the safety switches is not seeing the seat switch.
Replaced the seat switch still no luck anybody experienced this before? The loader won't move because of the inactive seat switch.

Check for continuity in the wires. Could be that a squirrel or something bit through a wire, or that a connector/connection has come loose. Anything other than that is beyond my skills.

Make sure the seat can travel down far enough to activate the switch. I had one of my bobcats with a foreign object under the seat and another with 5 gal of dirt under the seat.

I hate to say this, but the dealer basically screwed you by selling you a seat switch.

Bobcat knew they had problems with those seat switches years ago and stopped using them. There is an updated BICS that deletes the switch and gives you a new computer, and push button in place of the old one. That's what they should have at least recommended before selling you a seat switch.

If I remember right, the last one I replaced for a customer was about $400, but they never had anymore issues with it with the new system.

Good luck.
