1010 crankshaft

I'm trying to pull gear off the crankshaft that drives the cam. Using the same thing they are showing in the service manual, durn thing don't want to come off. All that is happening is the bearing separator is starting to bend. Going to have to try something else, and suggestions

Tomorrow we are going to try to pull just the gear with a large T-Bar. I don't want to destroy the large bearing separator, if that don't work will try something different. Last resort will use the hot wrench.

Timing gears and bearings need heat. Only heat to 250* F if you go higher you can take temper out.

250 is not enough to break down loctite, if it is put on with it. 450-550 would be OK, IMHO.

It'll take some heat to get it off.
