Haven't been on here in forever. Figured I'd show you guys that we got all the corn off. Lots of fun with the picker breaking twice and building a new corn crib. But it worked out. This will be part of the pig food for next year. We are still small scale, loaded the crib with a the loader tractor. We will be doubling our corn area next year. We raised 5 pigs this year for butchering and to sell to make a little money back. We lose money but we have fun doing it. Dad does 95% of the work but I help as much as I can from 3 hours away. Also the last ear was really cool so I saved it. There wasn't any Indian corn around us but it turned out like this. Several ears had single kernels colored but this ear was crazy. Also a picture of my wife helping us put it in this year.
