I have the motor out of a Farmall 826 tractor.I have determined the motor is not the one that came in the tractor.I'm trying to determine what o-rings to use on the new
sleeves. The oil pump is in the pan and according to the IH parts catalog the oil pump matches one for a 1420 combine,a 3088 & a 3288 tractor. The number on the block is
358DT2D 121432.Not sure if this # can tell me what it was used in.The two o-rings I got with the sleeves are brown one with Red marks and one with Yellow marks. At this
point I think I need to use the ones with the yellow marks. Any thoughts.

Two different block groove diameters have been used in the book I have. Measure the groove at the widest part, if it measures 4.658-4.668 use the thicker O ring. 4.667-4.677 use the thinner O ring..
