I run my Cat track tractor in the furrow with the moldboard plow. Been doing that for thousands of acres. The dirt was apparently just mellow enough in this field that it fell back into track and the track cogs packed it in drive wheel. Did not notice it was happening until I went down the road and it did not pack in all the way around wheel so on road tractor was going up and down with every round of wheel. Took me a while to figure out what was going on. I don't know how I'm going to get it out of there. It is packed in there hard as cement.

Just use a pressure washer and "melt" the dirt out. I have had combine tracks do that in really muddy ground. The mud will roll back on to the top of the track and then it fills the drive wheel.

Do you have any pictures of the tractor and plow ? Might not be fun but a bar and a hammer will probably get it out

Be careful with that, if enough gets packed in there and the tracks are tight something, like an axle/bullshaft may break. Running in snow will do the same thing, if you see tracks with holes in the pads it is so the material passes through and doesn't build up causing damage or the tracks to jump off.
