Must have been two folks that really wanted that cub,, brought about twice what they bring around here.

Dang! For that kind of money - we'd have bought:
Both H Farmalls, the Mazda Protege AND the Nissan pickup.

Next time we need a vehicle... we might have to drive down to MO.

I am not an IH guy and I would have bought the 656 and 560 both. The tires and wife front ends would bring what the entire tractors sold for.

One of my first landlords had a IH 656 utility. Easy on fuel but a bear to start.

I thought the rear tires on the 560 were good until I saw the back sides....The right one had a 6"
rip in it and the boot was coming out....The left one had sit flat and 3-4 lugs were coming loose..

I would have liked to go to that sale, but I was out in the deer woods. One or both of those Hs would have come home with me. I'm not an IH guy, but uncle farmed with them when I was growing up and I ran one quite a bit. I think I need one or two. They would have to stay outside though, because my barns are already too full.
