Everrit Tractor is having an auction Thursday. I took some things up to sell. I saw some things I thought you Yters might like to see:

Minnie Moe Manure spreader:

Allis-Chalmers Manure Spreader: If you look close the original paint is still on the beater. I do not remember seeing very many AC spreaders. This one may follow me home if I am lucky:

JD manure Spreader: LOL Had to show one of "MY" color.

A wood McCormick-Deering Drop seeder: It looks to be all original other than the tongue having the hitch changed for a tractor. They did not shorted the tongue so I bet the Amish will buy it and switch it back to horse drawn:

IH 37 Disk: I have not seen anyone put as large of disks on one of these LIGHT disks. The disk blades only clear the frame by maybe 1/2 inch. The disk blades are used but they are really thick. I would bet 1/4 of an inch at least. They should out last the rest of the disk:

Case International 96 rake: I never knew they still made the New Idea belt driven rake under the CIH badge. The hitch sure looks different:

Allis-Chalmers 160: This was built by Renault. I have only seen one or two of them. So the tractor itself is kind of a rarity. While looking it over I noticed the front grille guard. It looks factory. What is different than what I have seen is how it "lifts" up to be taken off. Kind of neat:

So I hope you enjoyed walking along with me gawking at the equipment.

P.S. I am under orders to SELL more than I BUY. LOL The last few times I brought more home than I sold.

I've seen AC spreaders such as the one coming up at auction where you are located at. Pretty rare all in all. Probably would have never seen one locally if it were not having a very strong local AC dealer back in the day. A farmer down the road has a shed kept low use JD 34 spreader. We have an IH 37 disk with the floating hitch but yours is a whole lot cleaner in appearance. We have had it since I was old enough to remember which puts it around 1966-67. I think dad said at one time that disk was only 4 years old when dad bought it. Nice pics in any event and sure sparked some memories. Maybe one of these days I can find some old equipment pics to post.

By the way I have seen spreaders that clean such as the AC and usually they are used at vegetable processing facilities or sometimes fruit. A farmer I know bought a real nice NH spreader that was used at an orchard to haul out trimmings from processing apples.

Hey JD do you have a link to the auction or
the information for the auction service?
Maybe I missed it in your post. Looks like
an interesting sale.

JD,

I don't know what prices are around your area, but here in Southern Tennessee, that MM manure spreader and the AC spreader would probably bring somewhere in the neighborhood of $2,500 each. Around here, really nasty, non-functioning units will bring $1,500. Maybe that's not too much money for them, but it's more than I am willing to spend.

Thanks for the pictures.

I have 3 Allis 160's, a high clearance, regular and a LCG. Also have one of those grill protectors that came on one of them.
Here is the hi and low....

Eldon How where they as a working tractor??? Renault did not have a very good car line. A buddy had one. It beat walking MOST days. LOL

Also if you look a the picture I posted the Grille guard did not work too well. LOL LARGE hole in the grille.

Actually the front end, fenders and wheels (standard model) were AC, engine is the same Perkins diesel as the MF 135....transmission was nice as it was synchronized. 3pt and hydraulics could be problematic. I see quite a few around here for sale with 460 loaders. Not very many LCG's were imported, I have only seen 2 others besides mine. Both of these pictured came out of Cali...

JMS/.MN Most of the newer rakes just have one height adjustment lever/crank. You fine tune level with the adjustments back on the float springs.

What did the Jd 34 manure spreader bring? I took
mine to auction last year, in great shape, only got
$650 for it,

The Allis 160's that I have had were equipped with a Perkins diesel. They were nice little tractors as I recall.

I had one of those 34s with the drum beater. It had a small rust hole in it when I got it. It only got worse of course. I had a load of pen pack in it one day and I guess it was a little tougher on one side of the load because it twisted the darned thing right up like a cork screw. There's nothing on the inside of them but about a half inch rod running right through the center.
