Auction listing near me...read it if you can

I pass by this place every day, see some nice tractors they are starting to line up. This is how they choose to list the equipment. If you click on one of the photos, you get a bigger photo but no description. Seems if they're in the business of selling things, they may want to make it easier for prospective buyers. Might just increase their bottom line as well. Imagine that.

in auctioneers you get what you pay for --if they have to charge a buyers penalty to get a sale you get nothing --if they cant show you pasts results-you get nothing

I'm not getting your point either. Looks like a normal auction listing to me except for where it is but sounds like you know that. Whats missing?

I see exactly what you are talking about. If I need a magnifying glass just to read the listing, I'm not interested.

I think he was meaning that if the listing were a bit more "organized" it would be easier to see what all was up. Maybe something like.......

JD 7700 4x4 quad shift, cab A/c& heat(7257 hrs),
JD 4430(1200hrs on new motor)
JD 4240 new A/C system (3625hrs),
JD 4030 diesel diamond tread tires open station(9092hrs),
JD 4030(5963hrs),
JD 3020 diesel(8000hrs),
JD 3020 diesel(2437hrs),
JD 2940 diesel(5483hrs),
JD 2520 diesel turf tires(5301hrs),
JD 2510 diesel(3782hrs),
Ford 1920 4x4 w/7108 loader w/78" bucket & 48"forks,
IH Farmall 400 2pt quick hitch, T/A new rubber, new engine,

and so on....

I see no bill. But what I am getting is they have a seperate listing with just pictures in with nothing to describe what the machine in the picture is. With out a description at picture is the tractor pictured the 4430?, the 4240?, the 4030?, seconf 4030? or the 2940? Knowing what tractor of the 5 possibilities would be good. I think this is what he is talking about. But it is normal for them to let you guessing what they are showing a picture of.

That's the auction in Woodbine, Md. I don't really see anything wrong with it. But, then, I know the difference between a 4430
and a 2520 and a TR96.......

Ok--I'll be a little more to the point: My eyes are 56 yrs old, have looked at a lot of things over the years. They don't work as well as they did after their initial break-in period. As others have mentioned, it would be helpful to have the info organized in some kind of clear manner. What does my ideal ad look like? Glad you asked. Here is an example, using the dump truck they will be selling.

(Pretty picture of truck here, with interior shots showing things like shifter and seats and dash, etc)

Description:

1986 International dump
500 HP Detroit Diesel
Gets 100 mpg on whatever fuel you put in it
Owned by little old lady who used it to mulch her flower bed
Never more than 100 lbs per trip
Always unloaded by hand to save wear on the dump

(Ok, that may be asking a bit much, and it's all BS, but at least it gives a starting point. And the description would hopefully go along with the item it's describing). Can't say I really NEED a dump truck, but it would be a great playmate for my Massey with loader.
Yes, this sale is in Woodbine, Maryland. Sorry, I don't have a link, but have some pics in my phone that I'll post when I have a minute.

56?, you're just a kid.
Wait til you get old.
