Flat steel chain

I'm resurrecting an old New Idea 6A corn picker. It has the flat steel detachable chain. The chain on the wagon elevator is no. 57 chain. I have not seen that number before, and farmchains.com does not have it.
I don't need any right now but am just trying to plan ahead in case I break a link later on. It looks like #67 is about the same size when I hold a link up next to it. Does anyone know if they will interchange?

I repaired an old JD manure spreader which used a ladder chain to connect to the cross bars and the driving sprocket to scrape the bottom
of the hopper. TSC had it. Might check with them.

I cleaned several of the links off really well. They clearly read 57. Plus, I have the parts book and that's what it calls for. But, as I mentioned. I held a link of 67 along side it for comparison and they looked like they would interchange. Just wondering if anyone knew for sure.

The 57 chain link is about the same length as 67, I think 57 is narrower than 67. If you need some I have 57 chain and attachment links for elevator chains. Also have some 67W gathering chain links. Call me 715-743-2220.

I believe a 57 will patch a 67 but not the other way around due to the width of the sides of the link. Might but cannot say for sure.

Buddy, I'll probably be giving you a call one of these evenings. I don't need any links right now, but it would be nice to have a few spares on hand.
Thanks!
