Nearly forgot to post the link to the video of the bulrush fire. Its nothing special as I only had the I phone to record with. Audio not great either but at least it gives some idea of the size of the area. I spent this afternoon disking it. Got a little surprise when the disker dropped into a muskrat run or something and I got stuck. Dust and ashes were blowing into my face as I struggled to un hitch the disker and drive the tractor out of the mud.

It looks pretty black. Still some bulrush stalks standing but they disk down ok. You can see the results in this video I shot while I was stuck in the mud yesterday. Yes, stuck! I was a little surprised for as dry as it is. The surface was ash and underneath was pretty greasy. Disker dropped into a muskrat trench and with only single wheels on the 2090 is spun out. I stopped before it went too deep and was able to unhitch and drive the tractor out. Lucky I had a chain in the tool box to pull the disker out.
