Bad hair day

I keep an electric shaver in the pickup and shave any old time while I'm driving.
I hadn't shaved for a couple of days so I grabbed the shaver on my way to work this morning. Got one side of my face mostly done and the battery died. So I went around all day like the profit Jeremiah with one side smooth and the other side like a prickly pear.
Looked dumb.
The cute cashier at Home Depot looked at me funny so I told her what happened. She laughed and said "Bad hair day?"
The cashier next isle asked what happened so she told her. And the cashier next to her had to know so they told her too. They came to look and we all had a good laugh about it.
When I got home though the first thing I did was put the shaver on the charger.

Oh, UDMN...thanks SSOOO much for the great laugh! Needed that today.

Got to the end of the first sentence and my first thought was, "[i:dcf71e670b]Distracted Shaver?[/i:dcf71e670b]" (rather than the usual 'distracted driver'). But nothing I could EVER add could fulfill that post the way the rest of your post did! Thanks again!!

Being officially retired for four years now, I quit shaving close. I bought one of those Wahl trimmers, and about once a week I cut the stubble short with the clipper, then let it go again for about a week.

Cutting off hair close to my skin has not happened sinse the blizzard of 1978 in Northern Ohio. I do not support Gelette. Jim

You made it a lot farther than I ever have as I don't think that I have ever had a two day growth of beard in my lifetime. The first thing in the morning after the shower the razor comes out of the cabinet along with the tooth brush, hair brush and the deodorant. I don't have as much hair on the top of my head as I did years ago but even that gets a regular trimming.

Not a fan of driving and shaving. Several years ago i witnessed a man slam into the tandems of a turning milktruck on a foggy morning. Climbed into the rear seat of the mans car to attempt to pull him back from the shatted windshield, heard this buzzing sound.........yup he had been shaving.

Can't stand shaving, but do it a couple/ three times a week, especially Sundays during warm weather. The second or third full week of October, the razor goes into a deep sleep. I trim the beard about once every two weeks until mid April, then by May, back to a clean, ugly face!

A few winters back we had a really cold spell so I through so wood in my outdoor boiler (central) then went to farm to make sure waters were not froze. I figured while I was there I would throw some wood in dad boiler (hardy). Well the hardy has a little door at bottom for ashes and you should open it first so it will draft, being 4 am I just open the big door and the fire rolled out and remove about half my beard and my eye brows on my right side. I could smell the burnt hair but did not think much of it till I got to work! Boy did they get a laff out of that. I was dating a girl I work with so I went to her lab and she tried her best to trim everything up.
