Your posts show lots of wet spaces in the fields (pot holes as we called them in North Dakota) and I wondered how much of SK farming country is like that.

Compare your area if you can to the fields shown in the Monette farms video posted by JD Seller a few days ago. Monettes were reported to be in the Swift Current area and it looked flat as a table top with no wet spots. Sort of like the Red River Valley of North Dakota and Minnesota.

I have not watched that video but yes, there is some table top flat land to the south of me where you don't see many, if any, sloughs. It shows well on google earth. All those little black dots are water filled sloughs. Personally I would not want to live in that flat open country. It would be like a foreign country or planet. I need rolling land with trees and thats what I've got.
