Rrlund was in your part of Tennessee today Went of at Buffalo Valley crossed the dam and down by the campground then on down the valley. Went for two one row corn planters which I collect. When I got there cleaned the guy out 22 pieces of horse drawn equipment. Some good implements. Lots of old stuff in those Tennessee hills.

Lots of work ,, Nothing easy about following a horse or mule thru loose dirt that is for sure. Not making any more of this stuff but then nobody wants it either. : LOL

When I was a kid our farm had an old adjoining farmstead. It had a nice big straight as an arrow barn, a falling apart house and three or four small buildings full of horse machinery. When I didn't have to help make hay or whatever I was supposed to take a tractor down and pull back that machinery, tear it apart, stack any straight metal or angle iron and pile the rest. Made a lot of trips, even burned a hay rack full of harness and horse collars.

That's an absolutely beautiful area. It also happens to be very close to me. There's some very good trout fishing in the caney fork river that was dammed by the center hill dam that you mentioned driving across. I wish I knew you were passing through.

Hey jm. Just sent you an email. If you don't get it respond here and I will try again. Thanks Kevin in Central AL

A guy down in Crossville offered to sell me every plow he had for $25 each one day. We were with the brother in law in his Durango and didn't have a way to haul them or I'd have owned a whole bunch more plows.

I sure would have liked meeting you , just did not know there was anyone around there. About 150 miles east of my place.

I though rrlund was in MI ?

Haul that stuff into Kidron Ohio for the auction. Might be a good market for it there ?

I picked up a one row horse drawn planter and two plows last spring from a neighbor, need new handles. Planter had sat covered with tin for decades, no rust through on hopper at all. Haven't been able to identity mfgr. yet.
