Saw this today while buying a bush hog. Any ideas on brand? It was cheap. Bushhog was only 150. It's ugly ....... Tractor was a JD 420 not worth his asking price. $600. Maybe for scrap price..

He is actually correct... kind of...if you googled Ford "disc harrow", the implement you''d see is just like that. Can't help you with that maker though.

My Dearborn transport disc harrow has angle iron on the top like that. I thought they were all harrows, disc, spike, springtooth, etc

There has to be something more than what is showing for that tractor being not worth more than scrap. Verry collectable model with Deere collectors being a slant steer. Hood looks like it says 430, not 420 and even less of them built. Either way that tractor in running condition I am thinking would be in the $4-5,000 range. At least around here just to make a show tractor and not for a worker.

Sat out uncovered for 30 years. Manifold is rusted in pieces on the ground. Transmission is locked up. Where you at? That kid would love to see it gone. Picture of tag

If it was closer, I would give $600 for it. The grill and hood are worth that. I'm guessing it is in Alabama.

I am in Ohio but I am not in a position to do anything but I would like to have some of them. The serious Deere collectors want them to round out their collections of the 20 or 30 series tractors and hard to find in these parts as not that many were sold up here. Mostly the 620, 630, 720 & 730 with the 30 series also scarce. A 520 if you find one for sale is in the up to 7-8,000 range with a 530 higher than that as the smaller tractors were hardly sold up here as the farmer had older tractors of that size but wanted more power the reason for the bigger tractors and you get into like a 730 diesel in good operating condition the price will be close to the 10,000 mark. I myself would like to have the 420 T slant steer with wide front and 5 speed with Live PTO. and also a 520-530.
